Join our free webinars on climate change
To limit climate change, we need to act now. We’re announcing a new series of webinars that will tell you all you need to know, and what you can do to make an impact.
An introduction to climate change
Tuesday 5 November 1pm – 2pm
Ever wondered what climate change is, or what a ‘climate emergency’ really means? In our first webinar of the series we explain what the greenhouse effect is, and what contributes to the problem. Join us as we present some of the evidence and give you the opportunity to have your questions answered.
Our key speaker will be climate change and energy scientist Dr Stephen Peake who has more than 25 years of experience in energy, climate and sustainability. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Environment Technologies at the Open University, having previously served as a civil servant at the International Energy Agency.
More webinars coming soon:
- Learning how to tackle climate change
Where do you fit in, and how can you be part of the solution? We investigate what actions we can all take to reduce our carbon emissions and lessen our contribution to the problem.
- Creating and living a sustainable life
Living a low-carbon lifestyle might seem like an impossible task. We present a real-life example of someone who has made a series of lifestyle changes to live a sustainable, low-carbon life. See and hear what’s possible and be inspired to act now.
Dates and speakers will be announced soon.
