Event Details

Join us for an interactive online event where we will discuss the Scottish Government’s national fuel poverty scheme, Warmer Homes Scotland and how we can work together to help fuel poor households.
We are delivering this event in partnership with Warmworks, the scheme’s Managing Agent. This event will provide organisations that refer households to Home Energy Scotland with lots of information on:

  • how the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme works
  • how it has helped people
  • other funding options available from the Scottish Government
  • plus, all the support we can provide.

Together we can help people like Mrs. P

Mrs P had just moved into a new home and was struggling to heat it. After speaking to one of our advisors, we knew that she would qualify for the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme and quickly referred her to Warmworks. Their surveyor arranged to replace Mrs P’s old boiler and she had a new gas central heating system installed, at no cost to her.

“I was having difficulty heating the flat previously, but I now find myself going and turning the heating down! … I’ve had such a good experience, there was no problem at all.”

Warmworks is also keen to hear from you about ways they can continue to improve the service and reach more people like Mrs. P.

The scheme has helped over 22,000 people since it was launched in 2015 and with high levels of fuel poverty in Scotland, we know there is more work to be done.

We’ll be running this event across our five advice centres, so if you can’t make this event you can sign up to attend another day. This event will be delivered online over Zoom, so sign up today and we’ll be in touch with the link.
