How we’ve helped organisations like yours
- Gate Church International:
We’ve worked with Gate Church International since 2014. The group’s carbon saving project looks to improve energy efficiency in the church building and across their community by supporting people in fuel poverty. Read the Gate Church International case study to find out more.
- Afro-Asian Community Energy Challenge:
We worked with Aberdeen Multicultural Centre to support their Afro-Asian Community Energy Challenge. The project encouraged local residents to save energy at home by making simple changes. Read the Afro-Asian Community Energy Challenge case study to find out more.
Let’s work together
Together we can create warmer homes and greener communities. If your organisation works with people who are struggling to keep their homes warm and manage their bills, we’ll help them with advice and funding. If you’re planning a project, we’ll partner with you through your whole journey, helping you realise your plans and make your community a better place.

Refer people through our secure online portal
By referring your clients or community members to us, you’re helping them get the best impartial energy advice to keep them warm for less. Our online portal is secure and easy to use – you can make a referral at any time, using any device. You just need online access and permission from the person you’re referring.
As soon as you make the referral, we’re sent a notification and can contact the householder to see how we can help. You can check progress and get reports on your referrals at any time.
- If you’re already a referral portal user, log in here.
- If you’d like to get set up on the referral portal, email us to get started.
- If you need a hand setting up a referral, get in touch with your local advice centre on 0808 808 2282.
No matter where you are in Scotland we can add an exciting, extra element to your event or gathering. We’ll provide advice stands and speakers and can run energy efficiency surgeries to add value to your event and help attendees save energy and money. We’re also happy to get involved with online events and webinars.
Want to train staff and volunteers in energy efficiency, giving advice or working with people in fuel poverty? We’ll signpost you to professional, accredited energy advice training and help your audience access our services. We’re flexible and can run sessions for multiple organisations online or at one of our advice centres, or deliver tailored in-house events.
There are lots of funding options out there, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. We work closely with a wide range of funders and will point you in the direction of funding to help you reach your goals. Just get in touch with us and we can chat through the different options and see which is right for your project.
