We work with people and organisations to help tackle fuel poverty and the climate emergency. We know how important it is to reach those who need our help the most. To do this we partner with organisations working to reduce carbon emissions and those with strong, trusted relationships with people at risk of fuel poverty so we can lower energy bills, make homes more comfortable, improve health and wellbeing and reduce carbon emissions.
We work in partnership with Scottish Water to help people use water wisely to save energy, money and carbon.

Want to help people in your community save energy and carbon? No matter where you are in Scotland, we can help you find the support, funding and other resources you need.

We support local voluntary sector organisations, community groups and other trusted intermediary organisations to provide basic energy advice to their clients and to make referrals to us for further advice. We also offer free training for advice organisations to give good advice on electric heating and restricted meter tariffs - including advice about heat pumps.

Business Energy Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government to provide free, impartial support and access to funding to help small and medium-sized enterprises save energy, carbon and money. Through Business Energy Scotland, you can also access unsecured, interest-free loans from the Scottish Government to fund your carbon-saving business upgrades.
