We are dedicated to helping people save energy at home, and we are proud to have supported almost 100,000 people last financial year to do just that.

Between 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, we gave free energy advice to 95,781 people and generated an estimated £3,831,064 lifetime saving on energy bills for low-income, potentially fuel-poor households.

We referred 8,990 people for support from Warmer Homes Scotland, the Scottish Government’s national programme that supports households that are struggling to stay warm and keep on top of their energy bills.

In addition, we:

  • carried out 370,201 advice interactions
  • supported the 9,383 people referred through our partnership portal
  • helped households make lifetime savings of more than half a million tonnes of carbon dioxide, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.

Beth Mukushi, head of programme delivery for Home Energy Scotland, said:

“This past year has been challenging for many people, with energy prices remaining high and the economic outlook being uncertain. This means our work to support people who need help to save energy and money at home is more important than ever.

“We want to thank our network of local advice centres who have pulled out all the stops this year to support Scottish households. By working together we’ve been able to support more than 95,000 people across Scotland to save money on their energy bills and stay warm at home.

“We also thank all the organisations in the third sector, local authorities and community groups who are committed to our mission by working together and by referring people to us for support and advice.”
