Event details
This is the sixth and final event taking place across Angus and Perthshire Glens this winter that aims to raise awareness of the financial and community support available to local residents this winter.
The event aims to:
- raise awareness of warm spaces in the community
- provide information on free or low-cost home energy improvements to save energy and money
- encourage applications to Pension Credit which unlocks numerous benefits including the Winter Fuel Payment
- give information on local classes and courses about making and repairing clothes
- give information on how to stay fit and healthy
- provide information on staying safe when using hot water bottles and electric blankets, and more.
