Climate Week North East 2026

Looking for ways to save energy at home? Climate Week North East is a chance to discover how small changes could help lower your energy bills, reduce your carbon footprint and make your home more comfortable.

This year's theme is "How your small steps can make a BIG impact", showing how small everyday actions can add up to meaningful change. 

Home Energy Scotland is excited to be getting involved in Climate Week North East, which is organised by NESCAN Hub.

Saving energy at home

We’ll be hosting a range of free webinars, workshops and community drop-in events across the north east of Scotland, all focused on saving energy at home. We’ll help you find ways to make your home warmer, more energy efficient and cheaper to run. We’ll also explain what funding and support might be available for larger home improvements.

Throughout Climate Week North East, you can:

  • attend webinars and workshops
  • get free, impartial energy advice
  • explore energy-saving improvements that could be suitable for your home
  • find out about grants, funding and support that may be available
With energy costs remaining a concern for many households, Climate Week North East is a great opportunity to learn how simple actions can make a real difference. Whether it's improving how we use energy at home, making small changes to everyday habits or exploring options for home energy efficiency improvements, these steps can help reduce both carbon emissions and household energy bills.
