Why make a draught excluder?

Draught proofing is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to save energy and money at home.  Blocking unwanted gaps in doors, windows and floors helps to stop heat escaping– meaning that you’ll use less energy to heat your home and reducing your energy bills.

Laying a draught excluder by external doors will prevent cold air entering and warm air escaping, making your home cosier. And if you make your own Doug the Caterpillar or Kat the Cat, it will look cute too!
